Baylor Geosciences Graduate Student Received Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award

Congratulations to Sam Barber, MS candidate in the Department of Geosciences, for being selected as a recipient of the National Association of Geoscience Teachers (NAGT) Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award for summer 2020!

The NAGT outstanding teach assistant award is a national award that recognizes graduate student teaching assistants for excellence in teaching. Sam received the award for his outstanding work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Earth Sciences (GEO 1408) and the Dynamic Earth (GEO 1405). Sam also received the Department of Geosciences Outstanding Teaching Award for 2019-2020 and was nominated for a Baylor University Teaching award in both 2018-2019 and 2019-2020.
